The Proud Of Our Troops drive has teamed up with Books for Africa for a drive to donate used books for the children of Africa. The books you donate will go all over Africa-in libraries, rural schools, English clubs, refugee camps, and in the hands of children and teens who have never held a book before.

Books for Africa, at www.booksforafrica.org, will accept all used books except for cookbooks, romance novels, American History/government books, and foreign language books. Some examples of what they will accept are fiction, non fiction, children's books, school books, text books, dictionaries, full set encyclopedias, and reference books. Gather up your used books and help the less fortunate in poverty stricken countries with the gift of knowledge!

Books should be mailed directly to: Books For Africa Warehouse, 715 E. Minnehaha Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55106 USA. Please email jewelrysprout@aol.com with your total number of books sent so a total can be kept. The book drive will run from 10/1/08 - 10/15/08.

The Proud Of Our Troops drive, at http://www.jewelrysprout.com/taylor-hicks-cd-drive.html began in June of 2006, and since that time, over 6,000 of Taylor Hicks CD's and books to US troops overseas, and also to soldiers who were wounded in active duty and are recuperating in hospitals.

Thank you for your generosity!
