I gave The Distance to a friend who is a moderate Taylor fan...and she said she really, really, liked Maybe You Should....and she listens to a lot of different music. I think it is unanimous! Pure Taylor voice...yes, indeed.

It covers the emotion~the quality of vocals~the depth of the lyrics~something everyone can find themselves relating to. However, I am still trying to decide which song is my favorite. Maybe that is a good thing? Fabulous job on this album

I would however, have placed 'The Distance' above Woman's Gotta Have It. There are just so many fabulous songs to choose from. It was difficult to make a choice.
