Kid One Transport's new home!

There is no charge for the service and they will transport to any kind of non emergency medical appointment. Kid One is the only program of its kind in the country. Taylor was introduced to Kid One by his friend, Suzanne Thrash. This meeting had a huge impact on him and he began supporting them as well. While on American Idol, he mentionioned Kid One to the public allowing us to get to know them too. When Kid One Patrol of Soul (KOPS) was formed, we really didn't "know" Kid One, we just knew this was something Taylor Hicks wanted us to support. When we finally had the chance to meet the people at Kid One face to face and see the work they do, we too fell in love with this group of dedicated, giving people. This is not just a "job" to them, it's a mission and one they take seriously. We can see the effect it had on Taylor because it happened to us too!! Kid One worked out of a very nice building they owned. It was very big and at many times, costly repairs would take away from their mission for the kids. One very hot summer, the air conditioners failed to work. Instead of taking from the money for the kids, the staff sat in the heat for a week. The windows in their building don't open, so you can imagine how uncomfortable they had to be!! They knew they needed to be in a facility where repairs were someone else's responsibility. The Kid One Move!! Kid One sold their building and moved to a new office park. It's closer to the hospital and much better for them all around. They're very happy to be able to continue their support of moms-to-be and children and are anxious to reach even more in the future. With help and support from Taylor, we've been able to offer some exciting items and have plans for several more in the future, KEEP WATCHING! Kid One appreciates everything the Soul Patrol does for them. It was quite a shock when support started rolling in!! Taylor must have known his fans would come through and help this worthy group and keep the vans rolling down the road. He continues to support Kid One by participating in event after event with proceeds going to them. KOPS and the Soul Patrol will be there to help too!
